Weekend At Home

So since I didn't feel too great the last couple weeks I spent this weekend at my mom's house. It's always nice when you are not feeling well to spend some time with family, have people buzzing around, and of course not have to cook or clean :) I thought since I'm wearing sweatpants all day I'd just share some pictures of the house - my mom loves decorating and has a cute taste in furniture. Yesterday I grabbed some food with my brother and took pictures of his outfit, so this post will at least contain some guy-fashion :)

Bridge

I'm gonna stop apologizing for not posting recently and just explain why I didn't do it. The past few weeks I had some personal things going on involving health stuff, so I had no time and to be honest was just too distracted. Today I'm sharing an outfit which might not be super special but very wearable, and also share this beautiful setting! We walked past the cutest little bridge, and the sunlight was just perfect, so I did some posing in the woods :) Hope you are all well and having a nice weekend, I promise to be more consistent as I start to recover!

DWH Store Opening

Last week my mom and I went to the DWH Store opening in Vienna! The beautifully designed concept store is at a great location on Gumpendorferstraße. All the clothes are by Austrian designers, and in addition to very innovative pieces the store also offers a bunch of accessories. You can find almost everything from necklaces to super cute phone cases. I especially loved the handmade knitwear and unique jewelry. If you live in Vienna you should definitely check it out, you can't miss the cute display windows! :)

New In, Horses and Flea Market

I'm so sorry I didn't post anything this week! The organization of the flea market was harder than I thought and packing up all my stuff took a lot of time too. But I am very happy with how the flea market worked out. So many people came and really liked it! I sold a bunch of stuff, but there is a lot left so I'm definitely organizing it again in the next 4 weeks. I didn't really take pictures since I had to sell all day, but you can check out more on instagram (@tcompass)!

Earlier this week my boyfriend (James) and I went to the number one show jumping tournament here in Vienna and got to see beautiful horses and an amazing show! If you wanna know more about it and see some more pictures then check out James' blog (here).

As you can see I did a bit of shopping and found an amazing Vintage Jil Sander sweater that I am in love with. Finally also hopped on the camo jacket wagon and found some other nice pieces! I have so many photos and stuff to share with you guys from the past week, so there is definitely gonna be a new post tomorrow! :)

Bizarre Mannequins

Today I had my job interview and I think it went pretty well. On our way we saw such bizarre mannequins that we had to stop and take pictures of them. They had this weird 90s lipliner thing going on, the strangest eye makeup, and the best part was the piercings! The whole thing was ridiculous, I had to laugh so hard. I didn't take pictures of the clothes, that was just too much. The store is one of those "middle-aged-women-with-no-time-for-taste" shops. I don't get how these people think those mannequins are cool, they don't go with the clothes at all. On the other hand I also wouldn't know how to style those freaky dolls.

So when I came home I googled "bizarre mannequins" just to see if there are more crazy ones, and I found some! The weirdest thing is I've walked by that store so many times and never noticed them 'til my boyfriend pointed them out today. Don't ask me why I dedicated a whole blog post to these dummies, I just thought the world should know haha…

Also if any one of you lives in the Vienna area I'm organizing a flea market at Cafe Europa in the 7th district this Sunday the 23rd starting at 12am. We are gonna sell clothes, shoes, bags, jewelry, books and more nice stuff! You should definitely swing by if you can, and if you have stuff that you'd like to sell you can write me an email (tcompassblog@gmail.com)!

Red Fly

Today we went to grab sandwiches at Maschu Maschu, which is a popular oriental food place famous for their falafel! I am in love with this dress. I think it's really cute and it was only 20€ at F21! I don't know why but I'm kinda obsessed with wearing red at the moment. I used to absolutely hate it and thought it always looked kind of cheap on me, but for some reason I'm loving it now! I finally found the perfect round sunglasses at We Bandits, the only problem is that I just don't have a glasses face, hence the name of the blog post :) It started getting dark very fast so I apologize for the light weirdness!

And no I didn't get ombre hair, I have no clue why it looks like it on the photo. I have been thinking about dying them since 2 years now, but I still never got around to it, and anyway everyone has dip dye hair now so maybe you are kind of special if your hair only has one color, right? :)

Weekend Photo Diary

I had a very nice and relaxed weekend. As you know on Friday I was at fashion week all day and Saturday morning we checked out the flea market. I spotted some nice jewelry stands and a lot of other cool stuff, but I didn't end up buying anything. After the flea market I went to check out some shows again and was very excited for Marcel Ostertag since I missed the show two years ago and everyone told me it was amazing! And it was awesome!

Today I decided to skip fashion week since I literally spent all of Thursday, Friday and Saturday there so my boyfriend and I went to Sneakerness (a sneaker convention!) which was a lot of fun! We did everything from funny pictures with huge kicks to a game called Lace-Race where you basically put laces in a sneaker as fast as you can. James only needed 35 seconds so he won a 100€ voucher! We didn't buy any shoes because I didn't really find a pair I absolutely loved, but we saw some really amazing and crazy pieces!
